Most Helpful Customer Reviews for the Delta Rothko Rolling Bicycle Stand
Good Bike Stand for the price – Things I Like: It is easy to put together, they even include the required tools. There are wheels so you can move the bike around easily. The build quality is pretty good considering the price. I also like the fact that it can be adjusted to fit either road or mountain bike wheels. You can easily use either the front wheel or the back wheel to mount the bike, it makes it very easy to keep my bikes organized and not leaning all over each other.
Things I don’t like: For road bikes, the wheel’s spokes will likely lean against the metal frame that is keeping the bike up. It doesn’t seem to be a big problem but it is a concern, especially if you have a very nice wheel set and/or expensive spokes. Also, my mountain bike tires are 26″x2.2 and they are a bit too wide for the stand. It will fit, but it is a hard to get the tire free.
Conclusion: Overall, I am satisfied since it is relatively inexpensive. I will probably buy at least one more for my other bikes.
Great Mobile Bike Stand – The Delta Rothko Rolling Bike Stand is well made and is extremely flexible. This stand will keep your road bikes and mountain bikes vertical without leaning the bikes against anything while allowing you to easily relocate your bikes when necessary. I personally own four of the rolling stands, and I use them for road bikes and mountain bikes. If you are not hanging your bikes, I highly recommend the Delta Rothko Rolling Bike Stand.
Perfect for my garage – Excellent if seemingly a bit pricey. It works like a charm. Because it’s adjustable to fit various widths of tires, it manages to stand the bike perfectly. And the rollers really are more than just a hype. Moving the bikes around (I bought 2) is effortless and helpful – they tuck into small areas. No more marring paint by leaning the bikes against the lawn mower. I’ll probably buy another couple of them for the other bikes cluttering up my garage.
Easy to assemble, works well – The stand assembles in around 10-15 minutes, depending on if you know which pre-drilled holes to use or not. The build quality is reasonable, but the bolts for the casters don’t all fit screw in evenly. This doesn’t affect the functionality, but seems like something that shouldn’t be an issue w/ today’s manufacturing technologies.
The casters are great, allowing some movement of the bike and stand without removing the bike.
The only areas of improvement are maybe some better design or feature that further prevents the wheel from tipping/leaning in either direction. Preferably a simple machining or stamping solution as part of the regular manufacturing process that doesn’t increase the price would be best.
Compactness is good, too. I have 6 bikes in the garage, and they all store neatly next to each other.
Value, convenience, and size are this stand’s strong points.
